Various types of testing - both destructive and nondestructive - can be performed in order to make different determinations. The types of tests commonly requested are:

-Water testing to pinpoint sources of leaks and determine their cause.

-Test cuts to affirm underlying roofing layers and their composition, including laboratory tests to determine chemical compounds.

-Destructive removal of roofing to view underlying components and/or substrate.
